Thanks for touching on the subject of the 3DS designs! I TOTALLY agree with the Animal Crossing 3DS XL and New 2DS XL– the former being my dream console! Another dream console of mine is the Midnight Purple one, as well! Purple is my favorite color, and the metallic finish on the O3DS was just so pretty.
And yes, the DS and DSi lines have amazing special editions! In my opinion, Nintendo peaked with their handheld console designs. It’d be great if you could talk about those, as well.
I agree that Nintendo did lose its soul. I understand that by the end of the day, it’s a corporate and a business. But Nintendo didn’t put as much love, at least for console design. They did pretty okay with the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite, and just now released a special Zelda edition for the Switch 2! Hopefully they would put more love into the designs, because it truly did peak during the handheld era, especially for the 3DS!
